Avoiding Scams

Scams are inevitable in Crypto. Here's some of the most common ones, and what measures you can take to stay safe.

Nearly all scams in crypto can be avoided by NEVER sharing your Private Key or Seed Phrase with anyone. The only reason someone might ask you is to steal your money. Do not fall for social engineering scams.

Impersonators

A very common method of scamming is impersonating official accounts. Scammers will pretend to be official employees, such as moderators, support, or even official channels. To remain safe:

  • Make sure that you have found Pocket Pro through official sources. Please go through our official twitter account and/or website to access our trading platforms and official links.

Always double-check URLs when receiving links from others. To minimize risk, access our products through our official platforms: Twitter: https://x.com/pp_trading Website: https://www.pp.xyz/ TG Bot: https://t.me/pocketprotectorbot

  • Pocket Pro team members will NEVER ask you for your Private Key or Seed Phrase.

This is the real Pocket Pro bot.

Unauthorized Account Access

  • Social engineering is one of the most prominent methods of scamming in Crypto. We strongly recommend NEVER sharing your screen while sensitive applications are open, or sending a screenshot that might contain sensitive information (such as Private Keys and Seed Phrases).

  • Scammers often gain access by sophisticated social engineering methods. Make sure to NEVER share any information that is sensitive, or download unauthorized extensions.

Protect your Pocket.
