Compete in the $100K Trading Competition
Trade, climb the leaderboards, and win your share of $100,000.
Trade perps inside Telegram with Pocket Pro Bot (powered by dYdX). From Oct 1–31, 2025, $100,000 in prizes are on the line. Two ways to win: (1) trade profitably to help your squad win the PnL competition or (2) move volume to win in the individual trading volume competition.
Squad and Individual Competitions
The competition runs across two categories: Squads and Individuals.
🏆Squads PNL Competition: Every trade you make adds to your squad’s PnL. If your squad wins, payouts are split based on each member’s PNL and volume contribution.
📈Individual Trading Volume Competition: Prizes go to traders who have moved the most trading volume over the month.
How to Participate
All Pocket Pro Bot users trading perpetuals are automatically enrolled in the Individual Competition. To join the Squad Competition, you’ll need to choose your Squad. Once the competition starts on October 1, you can only set your Squad one time. If you don’t make a selection, you’ll be placed by default into the Squad (Telegram group chat) with the highest number of @pocketprotectorbot users.
Follow the instructions below to get started:
Step 1. Add the Bot to Your Telegram Group Chat
Click here or DM @pocketprotectorbot on Telegram
Add @pocketprotectorbot to your group chat
If prompted, confirm “Add as Admin”
Step 2. Choose Your Squad
New users must pick a squad
Use /settings → “Set Squad”
Select “Set Your Squad” and choose the Telegram group chat you want to join the competition with.
Squads are locked once a live competition begins
You only contribute PNL and receive rewards in the squad you set
Step 3. Fund Your Wallet
To compete in the $100K competition, you’ll need to use your Perps Wallet:
Run /start to get your unique Arbitrum (USDC) or Solana (USDC/SOL) deposit addresses (ensure “✅ Perps” is checked)
Deposit ETH/USDC to your Arbitrum address or SOL/USDC to your Solana address
Minimum deposit is 10 USDC
Click “Bridge” (bottom right corner)
Bridging will complete in between 1 - 10 minutes
Step 4. Place Your Trades
Only trades made from your Perps Wallet count toward the competition. You’ll have access to 200+ dYdX perpetual markets, and placing a trade is as simple as typing a message.
/long BTC → Open a long position in BTC perps.
/short ETH → Open a short position in ETH perps.
/positions → See your wallet balance and open trades.
Step 5. Follow the Leaderboard
Use /leaderboard to see how you and your squad stack up against the competition.
Prize Pool ($100K+)
With $100,000 in prizes up for grabs, every trade counts. Whether you’re competing as a squad or going solo, there are prizes for the most profitable, least profitable, and most entertaining traders – plus a few surprises.
Squad Prizes ($50,000 total):
Total PnL based
1st place: $25,000
2nd place: $7,500
3rd place: $5,000
4th place: $2,500
5th to 10th place: $500 each
Down bad awards
3rd worst PnL: $500
2nd worst PnL: $1,500
1st worst PnL: $5,000
Individual Prizes ($50,000 total)
Trading Volume Based
1st top volume: $25,000
2nd top volume: $7,500
3rd top volume: $5,000
4th top volume: $2,500
5-24th top volume: $500
Additional Rules
Squad rewards are distributed by relative PnL and trading volume contribution.
If you win a prize under the Individual Competition, you will not be eligible to claim a Squad Prize concurrently, but your PnL will boost your squad’s standing.
